Social Prescribing Link Worker
Introduction
My name is Jola Bartos and I’m a Social Prescribing Link worker. I joined Newcastle East PCN in 2019 and then came to Benfield Park the following year.
What I Do
I'm originally from Poland where I trained in Psychology, Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Mindfulness. I am also a fully trained Health Coach working with people with addictions.
How I Support Patients
Since joining Benfield Park I have helped establish a patient-led allotment gardening project, and helped set up Benfield Parks very own practice based creative therapeutic art group. I am passionate about supporting patients using mindfulness sessions to help people overcome their difficulties, particularly anxiety and low mood.
