Do you look after someone who is ill, disabled, has mental health problems, or is misusing drugs or alcohol? If they could not manage without your help, and you are not employed to do this, then you are a carer.
If you care for someone and aren’t registered already as a carer, get in touch by phoning 0191 282 1010 to speak to Emily Hardie, who can talk you through what Newcastle Carers offer and how they can help, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can refer you to them directly and Jola, our social prescribing link worker, for additional support such as wellbeing groups, and financial aid/grants you may be entitled too.
