Practice and Coronavirus (CORVID-19) update – 16th March 2020

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (CORVID-19) situation all requests for appointments will be screened by a doctor or nurse first.

To help the doctor, a receptionist will speak to you first about the reason for your call. Your information will be treated in strict confidence.

If you are contacting the practice about Coronavirus (CORVID-19), the most common symptoms are a recent onset of a new continuous cough and/or high temperature.

If you have these symptoms, however mild, stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started.

Please read the latest stay at home guidance for people with confirmed or possible Coronavirus (CORVID-19) infection

Please also read the latest guidance on looking after your wellbeing whilst staying at home

You do not need to call NHS 111 to go into self-isolation.

If your symptoms worsen during home isolation or you are no better after 7 days, contact NHS 111 online.

If you have no internet access you should call NHS 111 and for medical emergencies dial 999

We wish to thank all our patients for their support and understanding at this time.
